The State Museum is a historical complex where you can see original 18th century interiors, hear music and Opera from the Repertoire of Sheremetev's theatre. Many legends, stories and mysteries are connected with this place. Even in the 16th century, when the history of Ostankino began, the Manor received a strange reputation. Everyone to whom Tsar Ivan the Terrible gave the estate, fall into disfavor with precarious constancy.
The Moscow Cosmonautics Museum is one of the largest scientific and technical museums in the world. In 1964 on the map of Moscow appeared a monument to the conquerors of space. The huge titanium rocket near the entrance to the VDNK exhibition became a symbol of the start of a new space age for mankind. The launch of the first artificial Earth satellite, the first living creatures and the first man in space became a starting point in the world of space programs.
The Museum and Exhibition Center "Worker and Collective Farm Woman" was ceremoniously opened on Sept. 4, 2010 in the recreated building of cultural heritage Pavilion-pedestal in proportions, repeating the earlier construction, created in 1937 according to the project of Boris Yufan for the World Exhibition in Paris. Crowning the famous pedestal is Vera Mukhina's sculpture “Worker and Collective Farm Woman ". The dimensions of the pedestal are 21 X 65, 5 m (69 X 215 ft.) with a height of 34.5 m (114 ft.). The height of the sculpture is 23.5 m (77 ft.).
The Water Park "Kva-kVA Park" is located in Mytishchi, just outside the northeast section of Moscow, in the XL Mall. The area of this entertainment complex exceeds 4,000 meters, (43,000 sq. ft.). Here there are slides and pools, saunas and a SPA. The height of the biggest slides in "Kva-kva Park are 12 m (40 ft.), and the lengths of some attractions ("Wild River", "Turn", "Black Hole") are about 120 m (400 ft.). The maximum depth is almost 2.4 meters (8 ft.) in the pool next to the ride "Cyclone".
Komsomolskaya Square, or simply Three Station Square is one of the most famous in Moscow. Here are a great number of architectural masterpieces of different styles. Outstanding architects of Moscow K. A. Tone, F. O. Shekhtel and A. V. Schusev built in this area the Leningradsky, Yaroslavsky and Kazansky stations. And it is very difficult to give preference to any one. And a few minutes walk from these stations was hidden Kalanchevskaya Station, the former Imperial Railway Station, which served the trains of Tsar Nicholas II and his family.
